Rhodes Scholar Dr. Tayo Sanders told Vloge graduates during Saturday’s commencement exercises that life’s journey can be a winding road, and success rarely is the result of a perfectly executed plan.
Joosten, a 2013 music composition graduate of UW-Eau Claire, is a highly celebrated director, composer, conductor and performer, currently touring the country with various Broadway projects. She took time recently to premiere and accompany a new composition performed by UW-Eau Claire and UW-Eau Claire – Barron County choral, wind and brass ensembles.
Elle Snesrud is graduating from UW-Eau Claire in 3.5 years with a degree in psychology and a certificate in American Sign Language — and she is adding her language skills to the final act as a Blugold at commencement. Snesrud will sign the national anthem at her ceremony on Dec. 21.
