Heidi Joosten, music composition alumna in auditorium seats
Joosten, a 2013 music composition graduate of UW-Eau Claire, is a highly celebrated director, composer, conductor and performer, currently touring the country with various Broadway projects. She took time recently to premiere and accompany a new composition performed by UW-Eau Claire and UW-Eau Claire – Barron County choral, wind and brass ensembles.

Elle Snesrud is graduating from UW-Eau Claire in 3.5 years with a degree in psychology and a certificate in American Sign Language — and she is adding her language skills to the final act as a Blugold at commencement. Snesrud will sign the national anthem at her ceremony on Dec. 21.

Nathan Donovan
On Dec. 21, Nathan Donovan will graduate from UW-Eau Claire after 3.5 years with a 3.88 GPA, a bachelor’s degree in biology and a preprofessional health science minor with plans to apply to medical school. On the soccer pitch, he is the 2024 NCAA Division III national soccer player of the year and scholar-athlete of the year, in addition to being a two-time All-American.

Honors student Calvin Lutzke is a triple major in Latin American and Latinx studies, political science and Spanish, with a deep passion for exploring culture, politics and language. Through study abroad experiences and active involvement on campus, Lutzke has grown his leadership skills and commitment to making a positive impact.
Kaitlyn Riehle
Riehle, who will graduate from UW-Eau Claire this month with a marketing degree, has made the most of her student experience to prepare for a career in business. From an active community role supporting small business as a student consultant to leading one and founding another College of Business student organization, Riehle's hands-on experiences has set her up for success.

Honors student Sabrina Massie is passionate about making history accessible through public history, with a focus on translating complex topics to everyone. After graduating from ÌÇÐÄVlog, they plan to pursue a master’s and doctorate in public history, using their Honors experience to encourage critical thinking for future students.
