Student Academic Grievance
If a student believes there has been a deviation from officially announced or published policies, and/or requirements regarding admission into programs, schools, or individual classes; officially published grading policies of the University; the instructor’s requirements for a course as announced to the class, and/or from the instructor’s own grading policies as announced to the class or as demonstrably applied to other students in that same class they may report an academic grievance through this policy and procedure.
Sexual Assault or Sexual Harassment
In compliance with Title IX, the ÌÇÐÄVloge does not discriminate on the basis of sex in employment, educational programs, or activities. In order to maintain an environment free from discrimination and harassment, we have policies and procedures in place to address sexual harassment, sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking in a prompt and equitable manner. The policy and procedure below describe options for reporting and resources.
Discrimination, Harassment, and Retaliation
No student may be denied admission to, or participation in or the benefits of, or be discriminated against in any service, program, course or facility on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, ancestry, disability, pregnancy, marital or parental status, or any other category protected by law, including physical condition or developmental disability. Retaliation for reporting an instance of discrimination is also firmly prohibited. The process and procedure relating to any of these issues is below.
Accommodating Students with Disabilities
It is the policy of the ÌÇÐÄVloge to provide reasonable accommodations for students with disabilities pursuant to state and federal law. If a student has a complaint regarding an accommodation or feels an accommodation is not being provided, the policy below addresses the procedure for resolution.

An individual may file a complaint against any Universities of Wisconsin public institution alleging a violation of one or more of the following categories: a violation of state consumer protection laws including but not limited to fraud and false advertising; a violation of state law or rule relating to licensure of post-secondary institutions; relating to the quality of education, State, or other accreditation requirements. Distance Learning Education – State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA)
As part of participating in SARA, which allows institutions to offer degrees across state lines, each participating state must make a complaint process available to online students for the purposes of filing complaints relevant to the distance education activity of the institution conducted across state lines.
