See’s essay collection, “,” was published by the Wisconsin Historical Society Press in 2022. She will share some of her “Here on Lake Hallie” stories about living in a small lake community and writing about quirky neighbors.
See’s award-winning blog, “,” has been read in over 100 countries. She also is a frequent contributor to “” on Wisconsin Public Radio and currently writes a monthly column, “Sawdust Stories,” for the Eau Claire Leader-Telegram.
See is the lead advisor in UW-Eau Claire’s Advising, Retention and Career Center and serves as an instructor in women’s, gender and sexuality studies and the Honors Program. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English from UW-Eau Claire.
The Thursdays at the U weekly series is free and open to the public thanks to support from the UW-Eau Claire – Barron County Foundation. Neither seating reservations nor parking permits are needed for in-person attendees.
