If you enjoy analytical thinking and solving complex issues, the mathematical problem solving minor might be for you. Through exploring course topics related to probability, statistics and even the thinking patterns of problem solving, you will be equipped to use mathematical solutions to solve all kinds of problems.

Mathematics and Music

Using mathematics to understand, appreciate, and create music. Free audio processing software will be emphasized. Rock, jazz, classical, and experimental music will be analyzed. Connections are made to brain science and medicine.
